Each West Country Cycling holiday has a comprehensive waterproof route direction leaflet (shown above) for each day you are cycling to ensure that you have a successful day's ride. Each leaflet has a junction-by-junction route description, a short description of that day's ride, the exact distance to be ridden, places you can eat and where you will find toilets. There is also a simple map showing the route, places on the way and where the adjoining routes enter and leave. There is also a profile of the route to give an idea of the terrain to be covered and the exact height lost and gained during the whole ride. Most routes pass places of interest and all go through beautiful countryside.

All this gives you confidence to know how far the next village or toilets are, when a big climb is due and even where a picnic site is located. Depending on how far you choose to ride each day, you may be following adjoining route direction sheets during a day's outing.
